The ammo menstrual cup is made from medical-grade silicone, abs-free and phthalate-free. This makes it very soft to the touch, durable and easy to clean.

Within medical grade silicone there are several types and grades, depending on their purity. At AMMO we always opt for the highest quality and use medical grade silicone catalyzed by platinum (it is a natural chemical element not very abundant in nature, very valuable and, although it is not a well-known fact, it is used in healthcare) DOW CORNING ® C6-135 imported from the USA, meeting all requirements and approvals.

Recommended by doctors

Prevents the development of infections (candidiasis). The tampon leaves residues of cellulose and the chemical components with which it is manufactured, which are absorbed directly through the membranes. Likewise, tampons, due to their suction power, can eventually cause a prolapsed uterus.

Enviroment friend

On average, a woman uses 11,000 tampons and pads during her lifetime. This waste and associated packaging ends up down the toilet or in landfills. The AMMO menstrual cup produces absolutely no waste.

Hypoallergenic

All AMMO products are designed to minimize the potential risk of allergies. As it is made with medical grade silicone, it is completely safe for your body, eliminating the risk of fungus or bacteria.

It is very important to always wash your AMMO menstrual cup well before using it. It is not necessary to boil it, but you can do it between menstrual cycles or in the case of a recent Candida infection or other type of vaginal infection. Follow any of the options (A,B) we propose to correctly place your menstrual cup.

1.- Place yourself in a comfortable position, with your legs open. Slightly separate the labia with one hand while gently inserting the cup with the other, keeping it folded until it slides completely into the vagina. To ensure comfortable use, make sure the cup is fully inserted.

2.- It is important that the cup creates a vacuum, otherwise it may lose water. Therefore, once placed, insert a finger to go around the cup and check that it has been opened correctly or pull it out slightly (if it is correctly positioned, it will not move).

Before removing the cup, make sure your hands are washed to avoid possible infections or contamination.

1.- Separate your legs to comfortably insert your fingers into the vagina.

2.- Hold the body of the cup, press with a finger to release the vacuum and gently slide it in a zigzag pattern towards the outside of the vagina.

3.- Empty the contents of the glass. If possible, wash it with soap and water, otherwise wipe it with some paper.

4.- Reinsert your glass, following the steps explained previously.

At the end of your period, clean your AMMO cup well before putting it away. Do not share your menstrual cup with anyone.
