Description

Developed for infants (from birth on) when breastfeeding is not possible or is insufficient.

Novalac Rice + is a formula based on hydrolyzed rice protein. It is indicated in a diet free of cow's milk proteins and/or lactose. Formula based on vegetable protein, free of lactose and gluten.

Contains PAX Complex, a unique blend of thickener (starch and dietary fiber) that allows the reduction of regurgitation episodes.

Carefully follow medical recommendations regarding your baby's diet.

How to Use

Always wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the bottle.

Wash and sterilize the bottle, the teat and all utensils to be used.
Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and let it cool down to 40°C or heat bottled mineral water with a low mineral content to 40°C.
Pour the required amount of boiled water into the bottle first.
Using only the measuring spoon included in the can, add the correct number of scoops of powder. Always ensure that the measuring spoon is level (by smoothing the spoon with a knife), do not chase the powder.
Cover the bottle using the hard plastic cap, shake well until all the powder is completely dissolved and lump free. Remove the lid and place a sterilized teat into the bottle.
Let it cool down to a warm temperature (37º C). Test the temperature by pouring a few drops onto your wrist*. Immediately give the prepared bottle to your baby.

Novalac Rice+ is a thickened formula. Novalac Rice + is made with ingredients with peculiar rehydration times and densities. For that reason, 2 layers may form a few minutes after its reconstitution. It may be necessary to shake the bottle more than usual to dissolve the powder. For your baby's comfort, you should use a large orifice teat for thicker liquids. Due to its special composition, its appearance, taste and smell may be different compared to regular milk. Without any consequences for the baby, the thickened formula of Novalac Rice + may contain small white food fibre clumps, which may modify the consistency of the stools (softer and/or greenish).
